Teaching at:

Canada’s National Ballet School

Originally from Cancún, Mexico, Alan is

a ballet educator and choreographer.

He is a graduate of the Victoria

Academy of Ballet, where he trained

under the artistic direction of Bleiddyn

del Villar Bellis (Fellow & Examiner CSC-

CIBC).


In his final year of training, Alan was

invited to perform as a guest artist with

Ballet Étoile Canada. Following

graduation, he joined Coastal City

Ballet as a company member. As a

choreographer, he served in the role

of Company Choreographer at The

Grove Theatre for the 2024, and 2025

seasons. Alan is currently a teacher at Canada’s National Ballet School.


Throughout his training, he has had the

privilege of being mentored by

esteemed professionals including

KerryLynn Turner, Marijka Stanowich,

Andrew Pronger, Amalia Schelhorn,

Alysa Pires, Johnny A. Wright, Ursula

Szkolak, Stephana Arnold, Suzanne

Ouellette, Roberto Campanella, Robert

Glumbek, Constance Cooke, Yoo San

Hong, Angie Seto, and Amy Hoffman.


Alan is currently pursuing a Diploma in

Teaching at Canada’s National Ballet

School, and has recently completed his training at Dance for PD.


Alan is passionate about

inspiring and nurturing the next

generation of dancers.
