Lori, founder of Ballet Gothenburg, an adult ballet studio in Gothenburg Sweden, teaches with a love and deep respect for the art. She took a break from dance in her 20’s to become a Registered Nurse, only dancing occasionally between night shifts. 20 years later, she came back to ballet through teaching. Her passion as a nurse influences her works as a teacher in promoting wellness and health through the joy of movement.

Born and raised in the U.S., she has had the privilidge to study with amazing American master teachers including Dena Abergel (School of American Ballet), Lynne Charles (English National Ballet School), and Michael Cusumano (Joffrey Ballet). She trained Pre-Professionally with the Ailey School, New York City, has trained in American Ballet Theatre’s National Training Curriculum, with The Royal Ballet School in London’s Inspire Teacher Training, and is a certified PBT teacher.
