Miss Sam is a passionate dance instructor and choreographer located in Victoria, British Columbia.


Sam began dancing when she was 2 years old and started competing at 6! Her competitive training began in Red Deer, Alberta at Make Your Mark Dance and continued at Dance Spectrum Inc in Calgary, AB, where she trained in all studio styles including tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, acro, pointe and musical theater, and completed numerous ADAPT, RAD and Al Gilbert examinations.


Sam was also a part of the Performing and Visual Arts program at Central Memorial High School where she obtained her Dance Composition Diploma and studied a wide variety of styles including Latin, vogue, West African, swing and more! Miss Sam has had the opportunity to study under some incredible choreographers including Megan Lawson, Brian Foley, Katie Hanson, Tasha Lawson, Lisa La Touche, Christine Cox and Christie Lee Manning, all of which have shared their love of dance and creating, greatly encouraging her passion for teaching.


While pursuing a career in child psychology, Sam spends her time working with youth in a multitude of areas as a nanny, tutor, at-risk youth mentor and of course, a dance teacher! She has obtained several certifications including, Acrobatic Arts Module 1, Acro Dance Teachers Association (ADTA) Advanced, and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) Level 1. Additionally, Miss Sam has seen her students through numerous RAD, ADAPT, ISTD, and Al Gilbert examinations, and provided them with award winning choreography.
