Miss Sonia began her classical ballet training at the age of 3 and has trained under professionals at: Dance West Academy, Ballet Academy of Fort Worth, & the Ballet 5:8 School of the Arts Conservatory Program where she was also a teacher’s assistant and was first introduced to PBT & plyometrics for strength training. Miss Sonia trained directly under Ms. Angela McGarity (AMA Dance Academy), and Ms. Ashlie Anderson (State Street, A Step Above Dance Academy, & Fox Valley Ballet Company). Miss Sonia is a certified levels 3 PBT (Progressive Ballet Technique) instructor who is currently training and teaching at Plainfield Dance Academy under Mr. Altin Naska. Miss Sonia worked for Riverside Studio as the co-instructor for their dance and music program with her sister Miss Ana Maria.

Now, Miss Sonia and her sister work with another girls program, House Of Bethany, in which she is also a co-director for their music and dance program.
