As students advance in their awareness of core and posture, this class is designed to introduce the importance of weight placement through exercises such as "Balance with Weight Placement" and "Alignment and Stability". Emphasis is placed on fundamental body positions to help students attain control and balance. As the class progresses, focus shifts to the back muscles, with the understanding the downward pull and opening of thoracic back muscles in the "Foundation Wing Control" exercise. The previously introduced "Butterfly" exercise now evolves into the "Caterpillar and Butterfly" sequence, incorporating a hamstring stretch.


The class concludes with a series of releases and stretches, providing a soothing conclusion to this class plan.
