 Sub-Junior Mini-Loop Warm-up 2, taught by Coni Belgareto, introduces dancers to strength and alignment awareness through playful resistance work.

The class begins with Hip Warm-up, focusing on mobility and stability while engaging the glutes and outer thighs. It progresses into Turnout Blitz, developing turnout control and weight placement through parallel and turned-out transitions. Feel the Resistance builds upper-body strength and coordination with progressive arm pulses, while Balance & Freeze challenges postural control and leg stability, reinforcing balance through small, sustained holds.


Teaching Tips:

• Encourage students to find smooth transitions between parallel and turnout.

• Focus on equal activation of both sides of the body during side work.

• Use slow, deliberate pacing to help students feel the band’s resistance working through each motion.
