Mini Loop Warm-up 2, led by Emily Seymour, targets glute and lower limb activation, core engagement, and ankle stability, using the mini loop to add resistance and deepen proprioceptive awareness throughout.


The class opens with Loop Warm-up 1, which activates the core and lower body while integrating spinal articulation. Internal & External Rotation follows, strengthening the glutes and legs while demanding full core engagement. Relevé Transitions shifts the focus to ankle stability and calf and hamstring strength, working through weight transfer and building toward a balance challenge. The class closes with Adagio Resistance 1, which targets external rotation and hip flexor strength through controlled leg work against band resistance.


Tips:

• Ensure spinal articulation is smooth and sequential — each vertebra should move one at a time.

• Cue dancers to complete the weight transfer fully to ensure correct alignment over the supporting leg.

• Remind dancers to keep the pelvis in a neutral position throughout — watch for posterior tilt.
