Heba Mostafa is an accomplished ballet educator and choreographer originally from Egypt. She began her ballet training at the age of 8 at the Academy of Arts in Cairo, Egypt (The Higher Institute of Ballet), where she studied from 1991 to 1999, earning her Professional Dancer Diploma.
In 1999, Heba received her Ballet Diploma from the Academy of Arts. She continued her academic journey, completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Ballet Teaching Methodology in 2002, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Ballet in 2004. Between 1997 and 2006, Heba was a Soloist at the Cairo Opera House, performing lead roles in a wide range of classical and contemporary works including The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Don Quixote, Lorkiana, Le Corsaire, Osiris and Isis, Carmen, Zorba, and Swan Lake.
In parallel with her professional dance career, Heba began teaching and choreographing for young, talented students. In 2007, she relocated to Dubai, UAE, where she taught at several dance institutions and expanded her impact as an educator and mentor.
In 2014, Heba became an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and completed her certification as a RAD Registered Teacher and monitor. In 2015, she founded Aspire Ballet Dubai, where she currently serves as Principal and Lead Instructor, teaching ballet, pointe (all levels), contemporary, and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). She is also an active freelance choreographer for the Sharjah National Theatre, where her creative work earned her multiple nominations for the Best Arab Creator Award at the Sharjah International Theatre Festival in 2015, 2017, and 2018.
Heba became a certified PBT teacher in 2018, completing levels 2 and 3. In 2019, she earned her Master’s Degree in Artistic Dance from the Belgrade Dance Institute. She strongly advocates for PBT as a valuable supplementary training method that supports technical development in ballet and contemporary dance.
Heba Mostafa is a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Danceand a member of the International Dance Council CID.
