This exercise was developed to encourages strengthening whilst stretching, developing movement in the torso and musicality. The length of the resistance band and strength will need to be determined by the teacher and student. To not force the student during any stretches.
During the standing sequence when the legs are in second be sure that the student is not locking back in their hyperextension. During the release make sure that the knees remain over the toes and encourage maximum use of freedom and articulation in the torso.
