This class, guided by Jenna Roberts, focuses on developing strength in the lower limbs and improving balance and coordination, with a strong emphasis on pelvic alignment, control in single-leg work, and correct initiation of rotation. It provides foundational support for jump preparation, landing control, and turnout clarity.
We begin with Bounce & Balance, which targets the VMOs, adductors, foot intrinsics and glutes. This exercise helps improve awareness of centre, especially during weight shifts. In Loop & Rotate, students learn to manage both parallel and rotated alignment, focusing on initiating turnout from the hips while avoiding compensation through the feet. The class with Small Ball – Extension strengthens the posterior chain and supports jump control.
