Welcome to Move & Groove 3 with Jenna Roberts. This session develops full body coordination through targeted core and hip strengthening exercises, combined with upper body activation.
The class will begin with Alternate Leg Rotators, to concentrate on pelvic alignment, strengthening the surrounding muscles to protect the spine and activate the deep rotators.
We'll continue with Fusion Rock and Roll: an exercise designed to activate the deep abdominal muscles and strengthen the hamstrings and inner thighs. We will then move on to focus on the core and hip flexors in Co-ordination & Pump, working to strengthen the transversus abdominis and iliopsoas to support pelvic stability while boosting dancers’ stamina.
Our final exercise, Dolphin with Bands uses the Proball and PBT mini-loop band to enhance the dancer’s alignment in turnout, bringing awareness to the work of the core, adductors and hamstrings in facilitating healthy turnout.
