This is a challenging exercise for the students, they will be working on finding their balance and building strength through the supporting leg.
Starting Position: The students will place their leg in a devant position on the Pro Ball and take their arms in to a 2nd position. Both legs are externally rotated.
Steps:
- The students will fondu and stretch the supporting leg then rise up taking the arms to a 5th position.
- They will repeat this 5 times.
- Have the students then port de bra forward while flexing the foot.
- They will repeat this 4 times and the pivot in to a 2nd position.
- The students will repeat the fondu and rise 4 times in 2nd position.
- They will then fondu bending the knee in and port de bra away from the leg 4 times through.
- Have the student repeat the whole exercise on the other leg.
- To finish they will reach forward on the Pro Ball and lengthen the hamstrings.
