The students will be working the glutes, hamstrings, adductors and core in this exercise. It is really important to target all these areas to help build strength and power in our dancing.
Starting Position: The student will place the resistance band over both thighs and then wrop the band around the top of the thigh on each leg and the band will come between the legs. They will hold on to each end of the band and lie on to their side, knees are bent with the feet off the floor and the top arm is up to the ceiling.
