This exercise will be targeting the glutes and core, make sure the students are focusing on alignment and breath.


Starting Position: The students will place the mini loop band around both legs and above the knees. Place the feet on the floor in a turned out position with the hands behind the head.


Steps:

  1. The students will floar the legs up to table top position.
  2. They will then open and close the legs 4 times down and 4 times back to table top.
  3. The students will then repeat this with their hands behind their head and the chest curled forward.
  4. Have the student roll on to one side with both hands behind the head, knees bent and the underneath foot on slight demi point.
  5. They will then pulse the leg up 4 times and then quickly roll to the other side and repeat.
  6. The students will then repeat the whole exercise from the beginning.
