The students will be targeting the adductors in this exercise, they will also be building strength to help increase their developpé.


Starting Position: The student will place the mini loop band around the foot and hold the other end with their top hand. Stretch both legs down along the mat and they will be lying on the underneath arm.


Steps;

  1. The student will bring the top leg up in to an open passé position.
  2. They will then rotate the leg in then out.
  3. Have the student extend all the way up in to a second position.
  4. They will then lower the leg back to an open passé position.
  5. The student will then turn in and turn out again.
  6. They will then stretch the leg away.
  7. Have the student repeat this again before doing it on the other side.
