This is a great exercise to help improve the arabesque line of the students. The student will be working the core, adductors, hamstrings and upper body during this exercise.


Starting Position: Placing the fusion ball between the calfs in a parallel position, the student will roll on to the pro-ball in a plank position.


Steps:

  1. The student will scissor the legs externally rotating them, then bring them back to parallel.
  2. Repeat the scissor sequence 3 times.
  3. Holding the turnout the student will then bend the elbows reaching the chest to the floor as the legs lift up.
  4. Have the student repeat the whole exercise 4 times.
  5. They will finish with their knees on the floor and relaxing the body over the ball.
