This is a great way for the students to really activate the upper back. It is so important we build strength in the back safely to help with port de bras.


Starting Position: The student will be lying on their front with a hand on each fusion ball with the elbows bent. The legs are externally rotated with the feet pointed.


Steps:

  1. The student will roll the fusion balls doing a big circle to a second position with a lift of the chest.
  2. They will then circle the arms back, repeating this again.
  3. The student will then lift the chest reaching one arm forward in to an arabesque position, then the other.
  4. The student will then repeat the whole exercise from the beginning.
