This exercise will focus on core and lower leg strength. Building strength in the lower legs is so important to help with jumps and quick footwork.


Starting Position:

Begin by lying on your back with feet in a first position on the wall. The fusion ball is on your chest in both hands.


Steps:

1. The student will push off the wall sliding along the floor

2. Have the student take the arms up into a 5th position

3. The student will then come up to seated position, walking back in

4. Have the student repeat 4 times


Focus:

Focus on the power of both legs pushing off the wall evenly.
