This exercise is designed to develop coordination of the hand movement, head, arms and posture. It is crucial to practice the fluidity of their fingers with coordination between head and arm movements. This will enhance your ability to express them through dance.
Preparation: Sit centred on the fusion ball with your knees together and feet in parallel.
Steps:
1. Take a breath with the introduction, coordinating it with a movement of the arms and the head.
2. The students will execute three small en dehors circles with your right lower arm, ensuring that your eyes and head move fluidly and without tension, coordinated with the port de bras. (The feeling of presenting their heart)
3. Ask them to release the fingers, following the arm back to bras bas.
4. Repeat the sequence with the left arm, and then with both arms
.5. Lead into a full port de bras into 5th position and return.
6. Repeat the sequence from the beginning on the alternate side.
