Ms. Bagg initiated her training in both RAD and Cechetti in Johannesburg, South Africa, evolving from a dancer to a master teacher. Accepted at the Royal Ballet School in London, England, she showcased her talent in soloist and principal roles with the PACT Ballet Company in South Africa for 15 years.


Her repertoire includes iconic roles like Bluebird and Princess Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Swanhilda in Coppélia, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Giselle in Giselle, Kitri in Nureyev’s production of Don Quixote, and the lead in Balanchine’s Theme and Variations. She also interpreted works by esteemed choreographers such as Jiří Kylián, John Cranko, Goh Choo San, André Prokovsky, and Sir Frederick Ashton.


Equipped with a diploma in biomechanics and physiology from the University of the Witwatersrand, Ms. Bagg integrates this knowledge into her teaching. She's been a guest teacher for various companies and schools in the US, Canada, and internationally.


As Ballet Mistress of Ballet BC and Alberta Ballet, she played a crucial role in staging productions like Swan Lake, Giselle, and Romeo and Juliet for South African Ballet Theatre and Washington Ballet. Currently, Ms. Bagg teaches at Ballet BC and various contemporary programs in Vancouver. She conducts drop-in classes and is on faculty at Inspired Movement Ballet Conservatory in San Diego.


In 2019, Ms. Bagg was invited by Joshua Beamish, Artistic Director of MoveTheCompany, to perform the role of Bertha in his staging of Giselle. She also taught his company on tour in Germany and collaborated with internationally renowned choreographer Idan Cohen in Vancouver. Her guest teaching stint extended to Les Ballet Jazz de Montreal in the summer.


With a specialisation in dance rehabilitation and a distinguished career spanning over 40 years, Ms. Bagg brings a wealth of experience to her teaching and coaching. She fosters a positive energy environment, demanding excellence in a nurturing and inspiring manner.
