A valuable exercise for young students. As the student releases forward, make sure they maintain a sense of the deep pelvic floor muscles with a sense of freedom in their shoulder joints. As they roll through their vertebrae, be sure that the shoulders remain soft and away from the ears. The student will slightly transfer their weight as they lift their legs so be sure to check the pelvis is not tucking underneath. Correct alignment of the legs must be maintained during the pulses.
