Welcome to the fourth class in the Move & Groove series, guided by Jenna Roberts. This session combines back, core, and lower limb strength in a comprehensive class designed to support dynamic coordination and controlled allegro work.
The first exercise in this class, Power Pulse Flow, targets the obliques and transversus abdominis muscles, deepening the dancer’s awareness of spinal articulation and alignment. We will be using the ProBall to both activate the deep core and challenge the dancer’s stability, enhancing their proprioception and strengthening their pelvic alignment. A key focus of many of the exercises will be coordination and breath. Dancers will learn to connect their breath with their movement to increase muscular activation and improve control.
The class finishes with Allegro Enhancement, an exercise aimed at improving jump preparation, pelvic alignment, and rotation through functional training.
