Senior Full Class 11, guided by Jenna Roberts, is a full-body session designed to support strength, balance, coordination, and fluidity for senior-level dancers.
The class opens with Warm-up & Balance, focusing on spinal articulation, rotation, and deep core activation while engaging the inner thighs and legs. This prepares the body for the Bridge Alignment sequence, where the work shifts toward pelvic stability, posterior chain strength, and coordinated use of the legs and arms.
From there, Adductor & Core Activation and Resistance – Extension develop strength through the inner thighs, obliques, and gluteal muscles, supporting upright posture, weight transfers, and spinal organization. Dolphin with Bands adds an integrated challenge for the shoulders, core, and legs, combining upper-body support with controlled lower-body coordination.
Standing work continues with Tombé Weight Distribution, refining balance and clarity over the supporting leg, followed by Rond de Jambe – Level 1, which explores hip mobility, leg pathways, turnout, and foot articulation. The class then builds dynamic strength with Feet & Leg Combination and Jeté & Jeté battu, reinforcing coordination, propulsion, and control in preparation for jumps.
The session concludes with Serenity & Breath, allowing the spine, hips, and legs to release, restore length, and finish the class with a sense of calm and ease.
