Fusion Ball Warm-Up 6, guided by Ella Roper, is designed to strengthen the core, activate essential muscle groups, and improve dynamic control and alignment. This short session effectively prepares dancers physically and mentally for class, rehearsal, and performance.


Starting with exercises like Bug with Beat, dancers will activate their core muscles, developing the stability needed for controlled yet dynamic movements. Further exercises will target external rotation, alignment for adagios, and strengthening muscles critical for hip health and balanced leg synergy.


Tips

Encourage students to exhale during the most challenging moments, especially in core exercises, to maintain rib alignment and activate the deep abdominal muscles.

In Refining à la seconde, remind students to exhale at challenging points to support rib and pelvic alignment.
