In this class, guided by Melissa McCabe, students focus on strengthening and aligning the feet while developing coordination and dynamic movement—essential components for confident and safe allegro technique. The goal is to train the feet to be strong, springy, and responsive, forming the base for clean elevation work.



The session begins with Iliopsoas Conditioning and Lower Limb Strength to activate the hip flexors and legs. Exercises like Sky Rockets and Temps Levé reinforce posture, control, and the mechanics of jumping. Metatarsal Control supports foot articulation, while Release & Roll helps integrate spinal mobility and core awareness to stabilise movement, serving as a release-focused exercise to gently conclude the class.


Encourage students to stay attentive to alignment and landings throughout, reinforcing a sense of readiness and safety in dynamic movement.
