Welcome to JuniorClass 12 with Jenna Roberts. This session guides students through a well-structured progression that strengthens the core, improves alignment, and refines coordination.
The class begins with core-focused warm-ups that activate the deep abdominals and obliques, helping the body stay stable and organised for the movements ahead. Upper-body exercises then work on thoracic mobility and port de bras, creating fluidity while maintaining strength through the back and shoulders.
As the session progresses, turnout and lower-limb control become the focus. Students practise maintaining pelvic stability and proper weight placement, while refining alignment in the legs and hips. Attention to rib and spine position supports controlled extensions and balanced movements.
Coordination and precision are further developed with exercises that integrate arms, legs, and core, encouraging smooth transitions and careful weight shifts. The fit ball is used at points to help students feel proper hip positioning and avoid compensations.
The class concludes with a release and stretch sequence for the back, obliques, and piriformis, helping students finish lengthened, relaxed, and ready to reset.
